Sedona Beer Co is exactly the kind of brewery I was hoping to find when visiting northern Arizona - good beer, a relaxed feel, and that amazing Sedona backdrop in view.
This brewery was built with the goal of bringing locally brewed craft beer to Sedona while embracing the outdoor lifestyle that makes the area so popular. Their focus is on easy-drinking beers that make you feel at home after a day exploring the trails or wandering around town.
When I stopped by you could feel the easygoing Sedona vibe right away. It felt like a spot where everyone eventually ends up - hikers after a day-long trek, visitors checking out the beer scene, and locals stopping in for their usual pint.
What's On Tap?

Sedona Beer Co keeps a pretty busy tap list, ranging from simple lagers to hoppy ales and fruity sours.
If you enjoy tart beers, their sour is a must.
Haterade - Tahitian Punch Kettle Sour | 5% ABV
This one was easily my top 3 from the road trip. The brewery describes it as a tropical escape in a glass, I'd say that’s pretty accurate.
The sour is full of guava and pineapple with a tart finish that keeps it refreshing - not overly sweet. It’s bright, juicy, and perfect for an afternoon in northern Arizona.

Drink Score: 3/5
Other beers on the menu included:
Sedona Sunrise - Light Lager (4.5% ABV) A clean lager brewed with blue corn and Sinagua malt - said to be super easy drinking.
Krushin’ Day Dreams - Hoppy Pale Ale (5.6% ABV) Features Krush hops with citrus and tropical notes.
Overall the lineup is balanced and drinkable, which works for a destination brewery where many visitors are stopping in after exploring Sedona.

Food Finds
Sedona Beer Co operates more like a brewpub than a taproom, with a food menu that goes perfectly with their beers.
You’ll find things like:
burgers and sandwiches
tacos
shareable appetizers
lighter bites
A solid menu for grabbing lunch or dinner while enjoying a couple beers.

Food Score: 2/5 (not a fair assessment since we didn't eat anything)
The Vibe Inside & Out
The vibe here is casual and welcoming, with a mix of locals and visitors passing through Sedona.
The taproom has plenty of comfortable seating for groups, lots of patio seating options, and a decent-sized bar section.
You really can't go wrong with the views surrounding the area.
Vibe Score: 4/5

Dog Friendly Details:
If you're traveling with your dog, you’re in luck - the patio (which is pretty much the whole place) is dog friendly, so it's a great stop during a day of exploring Sedona.
Score: 2/5
