If you’re searching for a place that has beer and goes great with laid-back Arizona energy, Hundred Mile Brewing Company is worth adding to your Tempe-area travel plans. Bright, open, and just steps from Tempe Town Lake, this spot is built for lounging - whether it’s with a pint in hand or a dog by your side and a quick bite.

This gem opened in late 2022 by a female owner who is an ASU alum with a passion for fresh, local beer, Hundred Mile has quickly become a local favorite, especially with the college crowd. The brewery lives up to its name - pouring beers brewed near home and designed to be enjoyed right where you're at.

What's On Tap?

Beer taps

Hundred Mile has a huge selection of beers - pilsners, IPAs and stouts - and they rotate consistently.

Notable Taps to Try:

Sour

Raspberry Berliner (Sour) – At 5% ABV, it's a tart, refreshing, and bursting with tart raspberry, a great match for a warm Arizona afternoon.

Drink Score: 3/5

They also offer a solid cocktail and wine list, so even non-beer drinkers have plenty of options to sip alongside the craft brews.

Whether you’re into crisp, tart sours or something bolder, there’s a pour to fit your mood - and you can easily taste a few to find your favorite.

Food Finds

Hundred Mile’s kitchen is spot on. Gourmet burgers, tacos, sesame-crusted ahi salad, chimichurri nachos, and crispy cheese curds - all great to pair with your drink of choice. There are even vegan and gluten-friendly options if you need.

Bigger plates like short ribs with cheddar mashed potatoes or poke nachos look super tasty and something a little more hearty to go with your beverage, while the lighter options would be great shared with a friend.

The Vibe Inside & Out

One of the best parts of the visit is the patio experience. With outdoor seating, a turf (fake grass) play area, and lawn games like cornhole and giant Connect Four, it’s a fun place to hang out on sunny afternoons or a nice relaxed evening.

Inside, the space feels open and airy, with big garage doors that let in fresh air and light. Whether you're watching games on the huge TVs, stopping in for trivia night, or just grabbing a pint after work, Hundred Mile is a perfect mix of fun and relaxed.

Dog Friendly Details:

If your dog is your sidekick, you’re in luck - the patio area is pet-friendly, and they say many locals bring their pups along for a drink or two, bowls and dog treats are available as well.
