Details & Availability

Can of Strawberry Fields Sour Ale

Strawberry Fields is from Indeed Brewing Company in Minneapolis, MN. This - you guessed it, Strawberry Sour Ale is a pretty easy-to-drink and another good option to consider having on hand stocked for new sour connoisseurs, or days when I just need something reliable.

It’s pretty much what it sounds like - Strawberry forward with a great balance of pucker. They also have a few other canned sours that caught my eye, so I’ll be keeping tabs for a future fridge finds review.

Can of Strawberry Fields Sour Ale

ABV 5.7%

This one is available at a number of local liquor stores. As usual, I grabbed mine at Total Wine. You can also find many Indeed options at Lakeville Liquors, Ace Spirits in Minnetonka, France 44 in Edina and a number of MGM locations around the Twin Cities.

Taste-Test

Sour Factor:

Kind of sour, nothing major. Enough tart to remind you it’s a sour, but nothing overpowering.

Drinkability:

Super drinkable. Another good option for the “not sure if I like sours” crowd. Easy to put down a couple of these.

Flavor Profile:

Strawberry-forward (surprise), smooth, and not too sweet. No major “wow” factor, but it’s another good staple.

Purchase Worthy:

Would buy again.

Another solid go-to for the home bar.

Final Verdict

Strawberry Fields isn’t flashy, but it’s functional. A break from the usual raspberry flavor, this one gets points for being clean, fruity, and low-commitment. It’s not a must-have, but it’s a great “I’ll keep a couple int he fridge” kind of option.

I’d definitely pick it up again—but  I’m keeping my eye out for the rest of Indeed’s sour series. If this one’s anything to go by, there might be a few gems hiding in their lineup.
